 Soma is the Greek word for 'Body'. Skin & Soma is a space to care for and correct skin, relax, renew and recharge.

 No judgements, no pressure, no guilt. 

I have  been working as an Aesthetician for almost 20 years, longer than I've done anything else in my life. I appreciate my clients and I love to care for them. I have a deep respect for your time and investment in yourself and your trust in me. It's a relationship I cherish deeply.

As a mother, wife, and daughter...I wear many hats. I understand how difficult it can be to carve out time for yourself. So whether you're a new guest or an old friend, my goal is to allow you to completely relax and check out (not chew your ear off). This is your time, not mine!

Although I'm very experienced and pride myself in my waxing techniques for both body and face...the work I'm most proud of is my facials. When I'm working on a client my goal is to address your skin concerns and goals but to also make it a full body experience, allowing you to completely recharge. I am pretty confident I can deliver the most relaxing facial you've ever had, because I care...I care that you're tired and stressed and pulled in a million directions. 

I also care very much about WHAT I use in the studio and what products I use on myself and on your skin. With the arrival of my first daughter came this re-birth of my intuition and understanding of what I was using on my skin. A purging of toxic skin care was just the beginning of my journey. I bring that same awareness into the studio, crafting facials with care and love and not toxic ingredients and fragrances. 

Skin & Soma is a supporter of small business, local businesses, small batch companies,  women owned-businesses, and the arts. I allow artists to showcase their work in the spa and they receive full commission off of all of their sales. I work with companies, some local, all privately owned/family owned, most of whom I've met. I love community and I love the small one I'm building through my little space.
